Oriel Chambers - Bruntwood Group

Oriel Chambers is a Grade I listed building of historical importance, in Liverpool City Centre, owned by Commercial property giant Bruntwood. We were asked to create a show office in a space that was proving difficult to let.

We decided to make the space feel modern, bright and airy but refer to the history of the building. We commissioned map wallpaper centred on the postcode of the building and of the same age as the building and used it to decorate one wall in the meeting room. The main office space was dressed as a map drawing office with quills and ink on the desks and book case wallpaper. It was simple but effective and the space let immediately.

The new tenant retained the interior design.
